With all the latest talk of AI, I thought I would look into it and see how I could implement some form of AI on my KvCore website. The goal of my AI implementation would be to provide customer support and features not found elsewhere.
After some research, it seemed the way to go was to implement some form of AI Assistant/Bot that could answer any questions that users may have.
Most people have heard of Chatgpt and Bard. These AI tools scour the internet to build a huge database of all possible answers to all possible questions. With these tools, it seems as though there is little control over what questions/answers the database contains, resulting in the following issues:
For Real Estate, I needed a lot more control. I wanted to be able to specify the questions that the AI Assistant had knowledge of and additionally be able to tailor the responses the AI Assistant gave to be what I wanted.
I came across a tool called Tidio that provided a conversational AI Assistant called LYRO that met my criteria. It allowed me to specify all the questions LYRO would know and their answers. It was essentially a closed system, not knowing anything more that I told it. Add to that the fact that a free version of LYRO was offerred I was off to the races.
After a few weeks of effort building up LYRO's knowledge database with all of the questions and answers I could think of and testing it fairly thouroughly I believe I have come up with something quite slick. LYRO can answer customer service questions and generate property searches and community profiles for my service area of Calgary.
The AI Assistant LYRO appears at the bottom right corner of every page on my KvCore website. To engage with LYRO, click on the AI Assistant bubble and a dialog will open for you to ask questions. Below are screenshots of three typical LYRO sessions. In the first, LYRO answers home-buying questions - in the second, LYRO answers selling questions - in the third, LYRO generates property search results.
In order to get the most out of LYRO, the user must know the scope of questions they can ask and how to formulate those questions so that LYRO understands. The LYRO usage Details guide the user in this.
If you have the inclination, give LYRO a try. Click on the AI Assistant bubble at the bottom right of this webpage, and let me know what you think.

If you’re looking at condos in Calgary, it’s easy to focus on price, layout, or location. What often gets overlooked is how that unit will perform when it comes time to sell.In apartment
There’s a long-standing belief that Calgary home prices follow oil.To test that idea, I analyzed 10 years of data comparing WCS oil prices with Calgary’s total residential benchmark.
At a headline level, Calgary’s housing market in March looks relatively balanced. Sales, inventory, and prices all moved in expected seasonal directions as the spring market began. But when
